The Baume & Mercier Diamant, reference M0A08698, is cased in 18k yellow gold, measuring 33mm in height and 22mm in width with a thickness of 8.2mm. The elongated case has a slim profile, and the polished gold surface gives off a warm, steady glow that deepens against skin tone. The dial is white mother-of-pearl, which shifts from soft white to pale silver and a faint pink as the wrist moves under direct light, with a depth and iridescence that a printed or lacquered dial cannot match. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal sits over the dial and keeps the surface clear. The fixed bezel keeps the outline clean. On the wrist, the compact proportions give a refined, lightweight presence.

The watch is powered by a Swiss quartz movement, which keeps accurate time with little attention beyond a periodic battery change. The 18k yellow gold bracelet continues the case's finish, so the two read as one continuous line, and a hidden folding clasp sits flush on the underside, leaving the front of the bracelet uninterrupted.
