Description:
The Oris Big Crown Chronograph reference 01 674 7567 4064-07 5 21 53 is a classic aviation-inspired sports watch that draws on the rich heritage of Oris pilot watches dating back to the 1930s. The 42mm multi-piece stainless steel case is instantly recognisable by the oversized screw-down crown at 3 o’clock — a signature Big Crown hallmark designed for ease of operation, even while wearing gloves. A coin-edge bezel frames a domed Plexiglas acrylic crystal, lending the watch its distinctly vintage pilot character. The black guillôché-pattern dial is fitted with white luminescent hands and markers (SuperLuminova C3), with a flyback-style column wheel chronograph layout featuring three sub-dials: a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock, and a continuous seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.
A date window is positioned at 3 o’clock. The column wheel chronograph with 1/4-second measurement is powered by the Oris Calibre 674, based on the ETA Valjoux 7750, beating at 28,800 vph. A see-through mineral glass caseback reveals the movement and the signature red Oris rotor within. Presented on a black alligator-style leather strap with an Oris tang buckle. Swiss Made.
