The Breguet Tradition Quantième Rétrograde reference 7597BR/G1/9WU takes its inspiration from the Breguet pocket watches of the 18th century, paying tribute to the legendary heritage of the Manufacture by exposing the movement on the front of the watch. The 40mm polished 18k rose gold case, 12.1mm thick, carries Breguet's signature fluted case band and houses an off-centred silver-toned gold dial, engine-turned by hand, with Roman numerals and blued steel Breguet-style hands. The retrograde date is indicated by a hand that travels along an arc at the bottom of the dial and springs back to the 1st after the 31st, and a power reserve indicator completes the layout. Powered by the self-winding Calibre 505 Q, with an anthracite-finished movement, a silicon Breguet balance-spring, and an inverted straight-line lever escapement in silicon, the movement contains 45 jewels, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and delivers approximately 50 hours of power reserve, visible through the sapphire case back. The watch is fitted on a brown alligator leather strap with a tang buckle.
