Details & Specifications
Description:
Launched in the late 1970s and produced through the 1990s, the Cartier Santos Carrée reference 2960 marked the brand's move into sports luxury, pairing a boxy stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet inspired by Louis Cartier's original 1904 design for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. The angular case is finished with exposed polished bezel screws, a blue sapphire cabochon crown, and Cartier's classic white lacquer dial with Roman numerals and railroad minute track. Powered by the automatic Cartier Calibre 077 (based on the ETA 2671), the Santos Carrée remains one of the most recognizable and enduring designs to come out of Cartier's watchmaking history.
