The black dial beneath carries a glossy depth, set with luminous dot, baton, and dagger markers that pick up ambient light evenly across the surface. A green 24-hour GMT hand cuts across the monochrome dial for distinct contrast, while the date sits at three o'clock beneath a Cyclops lens on a sapphire crystal.

The movement is Rolex's in-house Caliber 3186, an automatic GMT calibre with an independently adjustable hour hand and a blue Parachrom hairspring for resistance to shock and magnetism, delivering approximately 48 hours of power reserve across 31 jewels.
