The Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde Circled reference J003034203 is a masterpiece of classical watchmaking from one of Switzerland’s most distinguished Haute Horlogerie maisons. Inspired by the original pocket watch created by Pierre Jaquet-Droz in 1784, the Grande Seconde presents its iconic figure-of-eight dial architecture — two overlapping off-centred sub-dials forming a stylised numeral 8 — in a polished 18-carat white gold case of 43mm. The upper sub-dial displays off-centred hours and minutes with Roman numeral hour markers, while the lower, oversized large seconds sub-dial features Arabic numeral markers, together creating an unmistakably elegant and legible dial layout. The grey champagne-toned dial plate is complemented by silvered sub-dials, an applied 18-carat white gold ring that is bevelled and finished with a file, secured with blued-steel screws.

Blue-tone alpha hands complete the refined aesthetic. The exhibition caseback reveals the Calibre 2663, a fully hand-finished and decorated automatic movement whose bridges are adorned with Côtes de Genève and hand-bevelled by Jaquet Droz artisans in-house. A 22-carat white gold signed oscillating weight and a double mainspring barrel providing 68 hours of power reserve underscore the movement’s exceptional construction.
