The Longines Evidenza reference L2.643.8 is the chronograph expression of one of the brand's most distinctive and enduring collections. Launched in 2003 and inspired by Art Deco design principles, the Evidenza's characteristic tonneau-shaped case — with its gracefully curved profile and softly arched lugs — marked a deliberate departure from the round case conventions of the era. In solid 18ct rose gold, the L2.643.8 is among the more sought-after variants: the warmth of the gold against the silver dial creates a classical and cohesive aesthetic that ages exceptionally well.

The silver dial carries Arabic numeral hour markers, a small seconds subdial at 3 o'clock, a date window at 6 o'clock, and the chronograph's 30-minute counter. Power comes from a self-winding automatic movement — the Longines Calibre L678, based on the ETA Valjoux 7751 — with a 48-hour power reserve. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a pressure-fitted 18ct rose gold caseback complete the case. The watch is fitted to a brown crocodile leather strap with a 18k tose gold pin  buckle.
