The Longines Master Collection Retrograde reference L2.716.4.78.5 combines classical elegance with a sophisticated set of retrograde complications. The polished stainless steel case is fitted with a fixed bezel and houses a silver-finished "barleycorn" patterned dial, set with black-painted Arabic numeral hour markers and seven blued steel hand indicators.

 Rather than sweeping a full circle, the complications are displayed via retrograde indicators: a retrograde day-of-week hand at 12 o'clock (adjusted via a pusher at 2 o'clock), a retrograde date hand on the right side of the dial (adjusted via a pusher at 4 o'clock), and a retrograde GMT 24-hour second-time-zone hand on the left side of the dial (adjusted via a locking pusher at 10 o'clock). Powered by the automatic Longines Calibre L697 (ETA A07.L21 base), the movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, contains 25 jewels, and delivers a 46-hour power reserve, visible through the sapphire crystal exhibition case back. The watch is fitted with a brown genuine alligator leather strap with white contrast stitching.
