Omega Speedmaster Automatic "Reduced"

Description:

The Omega Speedmaster Reduced, reference 3510.50.00, is cased in 39mm stainless steel with lyre lugs and a black tachymeter bezel. The bezel's polished edge catches the light in a thin, continuous line, while the scale itself stays low-reflective against the steel. The black dial carries three sub-dials at three, six and nine o'clock. White hands and applied luminous indices stand out clearly against the dark surface, and under direct light the black dial takes on a deep, even gloss. At 39mm, the case is noticeably more compact than the 42mm Speedmaster Professional, and it sits close to the wrist with a measured, balanced presence that suits smaller wrists and shirt cuffs.

The watch is powered by an automatic chronograph movement, based on the ETA 2890-A2 with a Dubois-Dépraz chronograph module. It winds with wrist movement, so no manual winding is needed in daily wear. The chronograph is operated by two pushers on the case side, and the sub-dials record elapsed time. The stainless steel Omega bracelet is fitted with a deployant clasp, which fastens securely and keeps the bracelet in a smooth, continuous line with the case. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres, suitable for splashes and everyday wear. The Reduced was introduced in 1988 as an automatic alternative to the manual-winding Professional.
