Details & Specifications
Description:
Launched in 1973, the Patek Philippe Ellipse reference 4226, often called the "Mini-Ellipse," is a ladies' dress watch built around the elliptical case shape inspired by the golden ratio, a proportion of roughly 1:1.618 that Patek calls the "Golden Ellipse." The reference was a best-seller in the Patek Philippe line well into the 1980s and was offered with a wide range of dial, strap and bracelet options. The slim 18k gold case is fitted with a sapphire crystal and houses the manually wound Calibre 16-250, an 18-jewel movement. The watch is fitted on an 18k gold bracelet with a gold clasp.
This example presents in mint condition and is offered as watch only.
