Reference 16610 is built in a 40mm stainless steel case with a unidirectional rotating bezel, its black aluminum insert holding a matte, functional finish rather than throwing off any real shine. The black dial keeps a glossy depth beneath the sapphire crystal, with applied luminous hour markers and Mercedes-style hands standing out clean against the surface. The date sits at three o'clock under the Cyclops lens, and a centered sweep seconds hand tracks steadily across the dial without competing for attention.

The movement is Rolex's automatic Caliber 3135, a chronometer-certified calibre with a free-sprung balance and Breguet overcoil, delivering approximately 48 hours of power reserve at 28,800 vph.
