Description:
The Rolex Submariner Date reference 16610 with "A" serial dates to the year 2000, produced during the transitional period when Rolex switched from tritium to Luminova lume compound on its dial and hands, giving these examples their signature creamy patina potential over time. The 40mm Oystersteel case is fitted with a unidirectional rotatable bezel with a black aluminium insert, paired with a black dial featuring luminous circular and rectangular hour markers and Mercedes-style hands for the excellent legibility the Submariner is known for. Powered by the automatic Calibre 3135, the watch delivers 300m water resistance and is fitted on the sturdy Oyster bracelet.
