Details & Specifications
Description:
The Rolex Submariner Date 16613LN represents the classic two-tone diver that defined an era. This 40mm Oyster case pairs corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel with 18ct yellow gold, a combination that delivers tool-watch durability with unmistakable presence on the wrist. The bezel, winding crown, and centre bracelet links are solid gold, while the case flanks and outer bracelet links are steel; the unidirectional bezel carries a black anodized aluminum insert with gold-toned graduations. The black dial features luminous index and dot hour markers for low-light legibility. Inside sits Calibre 3135, Rolex's workhorse automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. The sapphire crystal includes a Cyclops lens over the date, and the two-tone Oyster bracelet is secured by a folding safety clasp.
This example dates from 1997 and presents in excellent condition — a well-preserved reference from the pre-ceramic era of Submariner production.
