The dial draws direct inspiration from the graceful drape and lustrous texture of Tomioka silk — a premium Japanese silk produced in the Gunma prefecture region surrounding the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tomioka Silk Mill. Finished with a delicate pearl-like coating that shimmers beautifully in changing light, the dial captures the refined whiteness and luminous quality of silk woven from a rare local silkworm variety, making it as much a work of art as a timepiece.

 The warm pink-gold-coloured stainless steel case complements a rich dark brown leather strap, itself inspired by the elegant brick façade of the Tomioka Silk Mill, creating a harmonious and deeply considered aesthetic. A portion of proceeds from every sale is donated to the Tomioka Silk Promotion Organization, supporting the preservation of Japan's sericulture heritage.
