Created in collaboration with the Tomioka Silk Promotion Organization, the Seiko Presage Classic Series reference HCC008 celebrates the beauty and cultural significance of Japanese silk artistry, drawing inspiration from Tomioka, a region renowned for generations for its high-quality silk production. The curved, pure white "shironeri" dial employs a dramatic wave pattern and pearl-painted finish, capturing the delicate texture and translucency of "Gunma-Hoso," a specialty Tomioka silk known for its exceptional sheen, suppleness, and strength, with matching curved hands and indexes completing the classic feel. The 38mm stainless steel case is finished in a warm pink-gold coating, paired with a dark brown leather strap inspired by the elegant brick façade of the Tomioka Silk Mill.

 Visible through the screw-down, see-through case back, each example carries an individual serial number alongside a "LIMITED EDITION" engraving. Powered by the automatic Calibre 6R51, with manual winding capability, the movement contains 24 jewels, beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour, and delivers an outstanding 72-hour power reserve. Limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide, the watch is presented in a special collector's box with a genuine silk pocket square included.
