Description:

The Seiko Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver's Watch Fan-Selected Limited Edition HBC011J is cased in stainless steel with a super-hard coating, measuring 40.0mm in diameter and 13.0mm in thickness, with a 46.4mm lug-to-lug span. The dial is a vivid blue with an embossed wave pattern, and under direct light the relief catches highlights and breaks the surface into shifting bands of tone. A matching blue bezel insert repeats the colour, and the applied indices and hands are coated with LumiBrite for low-light legibility. A date window sits between four and five o'clock. The curved sapphire crystal carries an anti-reflective coating on its inner surface, which limits glare and keeps the dial clear at oblique angles. On the wrist, the compact proportions give it a low, balanced profile for a 300 metre diver.

Inside is Seiko's calibre 6R55, an automatic movement with manual winding, 24 jewels and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. That allows the watch to be set aside over a weekend and still be running on Monday morning, and a stop-seconds function allows the time to be set precisely. The stainless steel bracelet has a three-fold clasp with push-button release. A screw-down crown and screw-down case back support a water resistance rating of 300 metres, and magnetic resistance is rated to 4,800 A/m. The unidirectional rotating bezel is fitted for dive timing. This model is the fan-selected design from Seiko's global vote and is limited to 4,500 pieces worldwide, with LIMITED EDITION marked on the case back.
