The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grande Taille reference 270.2.63 — also known as the "Sun Moon" — is one of the most technically accomplished and aesthetically refined expressions of the iconic Reverso case. Crafted in 18ct rose gold, the watch retains the Art Deco rectangular silhouette that has defined the collection since 1931, with the characteristic reeded bezel, polished and brushed five-body case, and the signature swivelling mechanism that allows the inner case to reverse within its back plate.

The silver two-tone dial presents an impressive array of complications within an elegant asymmetric layout: a day/night indication at 2 o'clock, a retrograde 40-hour power reserve sector between 10 and 11 o'clock, a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, and a moon phase aperture also at 6 o'clock — all rendered with painted black Arabic numerals and blued steel épée hands. The reverse of the case is fitted with a sapphire display back, revealing the manually-wound Calibre 823 in its entirety — a tonneau-shaped form movement finished with rhodium plating and côtes de Genève decoration.
