Details & Specifications
Description:
The A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia Thin reference 201.027 is the manufacture's flattest watch, focusing purely on the essential functions of a mechanical timepiece: the display of hours and minutes. The 18k white gold case, measuring just 5.9mm in height, consists of three parts — bezel, case band, and case back — and houses an argenté-coloured dial crafted from solid silver, paired with slender hands and elongated baton markers for a deliberately pared-down aesthetic. Turning the watch over reveals the manually wound Calibre L093.1 through a sapphire case back, a movement composed of 167 parts, decorated and assembled by hand, with plates made of untreated German silver and a hand-engraved balance cock. The movement delivers a 72-hour power reserve at 21,600 vibrations per hour. The watch is fitted on a black alligator leather strap with an 18k white gold prong buckle.
This example dates to 2019, presents in like-new, boxed condition, comes with full service history, and is complete with its full set.
