The Rolex Sky-Dweller ref. 326235 in 18ct Everose gold with white dial and Oysterflex bracelet is the most technically complex and mechanically ambitious watch in the Rolex catalogue — a 42mm travel companion that combines an annual calendar and dual time zone display within a case of genuine precious metal, controlled through one of the most ingenious bezel-and-crown interaction systems ever devised for a wristwatch.

 Introduced in 2012 as Rolex's most complicated in-house creation, the Sky-Dweller houses two entirely original complications: the Saros annual calendar, which requires manual correction only once a year (at the end of February), with the month displayed through 12 apertures positioned around the circumference of the dial at each hour marker; and the dual time zone display, indicated via a 24-hour off-centre disc at 6 o'clock that allows instant reading of a second time zone across all 24 hours.

The Ring Command bezel — the 18ct Everose gold fluted rotatable bezel that doubles as a mechanical interface — allows the wearer to select and set each function in turn by rotating the bezel to one of three positions and using the single winding crown, eliminating the need for additional correctors or pushers.

 The white dial is kept remarkably clean given the complexity of the watch beneath it: applied Everose gold baton hour markers and matching hands, the 24-hour disc, date aperture at 3 o'clock, and the 12 month apertures at each hour position are all integrated into a dial of genuine legibility and elegance.

 The Oysterflex bracelet — Rolex's proprietary high-performance elastomer strap with titanium-nickel alloy metallic blade insert, longitudinal cushion system for wrist stability, and Glidelock extension system allowing 15mm of tool-free adjustment — is secured by an 18ct Everose gold Oysterclasp, delivering the comfort and versatility of a rubber strap with the precious metal finishing of a solid gold clasp.
