DESCRIPTION
The Speedmaster Moonwatch is one of the world’s most iconic timepieces. Having been a part of all six moon landings, the legendary chronograph is an impressive representation of the brand’s adventurous pioneering spirit.
Presented on a polished-brushed five-arched-links-per-row bracelet, this 42 mm Moonwatch in stainless steel features a hesalite crystal on the front and a closed stainless steel caseback. Inspired by the 4th-generation Moonwatch worn on the lunar surface, the 2009 Speedmaster Professional retains its asymmetrical case and black matte dial with luminous indices. Powered by the manual-wind Calibre 1861, it remains faithful to the original spirit of the Moonwatch—rugged, reliable, and timeless.
The watch is driven by the Omega Calibre 1861, a hand-wound chronograph movement powering the small-seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder, and 12-hour recorder, along with the central chronograph seconds hand.
This piece presents in excellent condition with full box and papers, circa 2009 and serviced in 2018.
