The Omega Speedmaster Reduced ref. 3502.73.00 with blue mother of pearl dial is one of the most distinctive and visually arresting variants produced within the Speedmaster Reduced family — a watch that takes the iconic Speedmaster silhouette and dial architecture and introduces a material of entirely different character and femininity to the formula, without in any way diminishing the chronograph's purposeful, instrument-quality character.

 The blue mother of pearl dial shimmers with an organic, iridescent depth that shifts and catches the light in a way no conventional lacquered or printed dial can replicate — each dial unique by virtue of the material itself — while the three widely-spaced sub-dials at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock (the characteristic layout of the Dubois Dépraz chronograph module), the Arabic numeral hour markers, and the "Speedmaster Automatic" signature retain every element of the reference's design DNA.

The black anodised aluminium tachymeter bezel and stainless steel case are finished to Omega's customary standard, with the domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on the inner surface adding a refined, contemporary touch to a watch that is otherwise faithful to the Speedmaster Reduced's long-established aesthetic.
