Description:

The TAG Heuer Carrera Astronomer, reference WBX2110.BA0044, is cased in 39mm stainless steel, 12mm thick, with brushed and polished finishes that alternate across the case and bracelet. The silver dial combines a sunray effect with a brushed texture, so the surface brightens and softens in turn as the light moves across it. Black and silver flanges frame the dial and add a measure of depth. A moonphase display sits among the dial's complications. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial. The compact 39mm diameter suits a wide range of wrists, and the watch wears flat and balanced on the arm. The Astronomer takes its name from the 1962 Friendship 7 mission, during which John Glenn wore a modified Heuer stopwatch.
