 The Cartier Tank has cemented its positioning as one of the most iconic watches of the past 100 years, and its popularity is going strong today. We are pleased to offer straps to fit the modern day Cartier Tank Must and Tank Louis Cartier, in Small, Large and Extra Large sizes.

Saffiano leather is extremely popular amongst mainstream fashion, made popular by Prada. Even if you don't know its name, you probably have seen it before. It's an embossed pattern that has very pronounced and uniform grain. The scratch and water resistance of Saffiano is amongst the best there is.

 

MADE TO FIT THE CARTIER TANK WATCHES

These straps were made to fit the Cartier Tank Must and Cartier Tank Louis Cartier line of watches, specifically the Tank Small (with 16mm lug width), Tank Large (with 19mm lug width) and Tank Extra Large (with 23mm lug width).

 

 

SAFFIANO LEATHER FROM NUOVA OVERLORD TANNERY IN ITALY

Saffiano leather has a signature cross-hatch grain first popularised by Prada. The pattern is created by embossing a cross-hatch pattern on wax laying with the surface of the calfskin, granting it high levels of scratch and water resistance. Luxurious and low maintenance, Saffiano straps look classy effortlessly.

 

 

SADDLE STITCHED BY HAND WITH LINEN THREAD

Every strap is saddle stitched by hand by our leather artisans. Unlike lock stitch created by machines, a saddle stitch is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that forms a knot at every stitch. Linen thread in 0.35mm thickness was selected for a fine and natural weave.

 

 

QUICK RELEASE SPRING BAR FOR EXTRA CONVENIENCE

Our straps come with custom made quick release spring bars! This makes it very easy to change out your strap - you don't have to use any tools to do so, which is life-changing if you haven't tried it before. Our QRSBs are best-in-class and improves on many of the features compared to regular QRSBs.  

 

 

SEALED EDGES FOR LONG-TERM DURABILITY

Our edges are finished with multiple layers of edge paint to seal the raw edges. The edges are sanded and edge paint is applied. After the first layer of edge paint has dried, another round of sanding and another layer of edge paint is applied. This process repeats until the edge paint is smooth and uniform.

 

 

HYPOALLERGENIC ZERMATT LEATHER FOR LINING

The straps are lined with Zermatt leather from Haas tannery, specially developed for use as a lining material. It is soft to the touch and comfortable even after hours of wear. The leather is water- and sweat-resistant and works well even in hot and humid climate such as Singapore.

 

 

316L STAINLESS STEEL CARTIER-STYLE BUCKLE

Every strap comes fitted with a 316L Stainless Steel Cartier-Style Buckle. These buckles are fully polished and are modelled after the OEM buckles from Cartier with its curvaceous shape and pointed tip.

 

 

PREMIUM STRAP PACKAGING TO PROTECT YOUR STRAP

Every strap is shipped in its individual silicon packaging, which was specially developed to ensure that the strap does not get damaged during transit. With reinforced eyelet holes at the sides, this packaging has dual-use purpose in mind - you can use this packaging to store and organise your watch straps.
